Neil is dead: Who is to blame?
Oh my god, it's so terrible, Neil just shot himself!! Today we're going to discuss who is to blame for this terrible suicide. 😭

As you know from my characterization, Mr. Keating teaches very differently and maybe his deep entry into the poetic world caused a conflict in Neil. He wanted to be free and do what he loved: Acting. When his father saw, that he played his role against his father's will, he decided to send him to a military school, then to Harvard and then he has to become a doctor. Maybe this shocked Neil, cause that would have meant 10 more years at school, and that's not what he wanted. I think that Mr. Keating's "teaching style" taught the boys to think more freely and that's why Neil didn't want to be a doctor. Because he wouldn't have been happy with it. This conflict, between his passion and the will of his father, led to Neil's suicide. It's most likely, that Neil's father's pressure on his own son crushed him, so I guess that it's his father's fault.
Hmm, a very sad story right, I hope you'll never get to this point. If you need help look at this website: www.telefonseelsorge.de
I hope you still enjoy this blog, even if its topics are sometimes very sad.
